Danny Jimenez, CEO

Danny Jimenez
Danny Jimenez joined Craig Energy as CEO in 2013. He has been in the oilfield services industry for more than 20 years, and has held several management positions for pressure pumping organizations such as Schlumberger and Halliburton, both domestically and overseas, including assignments in North and West Africa.

Prior to Craig Energy, Jimenez led the U.S. division for an international oil and gas service company. During his tenure as Vice President, he managed to expand the company’s footprint in key domestic markets, increasing headcount, growing the customer base, and improving the overall safety performance of the business unit.Jimenez is recognized as an industry advocate and serves on the board of directors for the Western Energy Alliance (WEA). WEA promotes the safe development of domestic oil and gas resources.

He serves as a consultant to different projects aiming to address current industry issues.Jimenez holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar, Venezuela, a Master of Science in International Political Economy of Oil and Gas Resources from the Colorado School of Mines, and an MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management.


Patricia Jacobs, CFO

Patricia Jacobs

Patty Jacobs joined Craig Energy as CFO in 2014. Prior to her role at Craig Energy, Jacobs served as a corporate executive at various energy, technology and software companies. Most recently, she was Controller at Enerplus Resources, an upstream oil and gas company, where she was responsible for the US financial functions.

Prior to that, she held senior finance roles at a startup fluids company, which successfully grew and sold to Castle Harlan, a private equity firm based in New York and Analytical Spectrum Devices (ASDIMs). Jacobs’ career began with Halliburton where she held financial positions in their corporate headquarters, regional operations and Landmark Graphics, a major subsidiary. Jacobs has a proven track record of strategic leadership, infrastructure development, and process optimizations to support the successful execution of the Company’s strategy. She has been formally recognized for employee development and leadership and specializes in organizational growth, while delivering financial results and developing a culture of integrity and accountability.

Jacobs received her Accounting Bachelor of Science degree, attending Cameron University and Oklahoma State University and attended Business Leadership Development courses at Texas A&M and Executive Management Development courses at the University of Michigan. She is a local and corporate member of Financial Executive International (FEI) and Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) organizations.


Mike McNeil, Vice President, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

Mike McNeil joined Craig Energy as its Vice President – HSE in 2014. Prior to that he has served in senior leadership at various energy, construction, and manufacturing organizations. Most recently, McNeil was US Operations Manager for an oilfield pressure pumping company based in Denver, Colorado.

McNeil’s extensive expertise has created trusted advisor environments serving executive management and operational teams. He has led companies to lower their incident rates by 65% and subsequently their EMR by 48% in three years, saving millions of dollars in reduced insurance premiums and lowering companies overall cost of risk. He is known for growing company operations, while advancing cultures and improving bottom-line results.

McNeil has a civil engineering degree from Northeastern University and has authored and presented materials on the integration of safety and training into operation and advancing safety cultures in companies.

Julie Villalobos, Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Julie Villalobos joined Craig Energy in 2014 as VP of Sales and Marketing. She has worked in the oil and gas industry since 2001 with both service and operating companies. Most recently, she was Solutions Manager for an oilfield pressure pumping company based in Denver, Colorado, where she focused on sales and management.

Villalobos started her career as a field engineer in South Texas, working on high pressure gas wells for Schlumberger. She then moved into a position with Coil Tubing Services as a technical support engineer, providing support for both land and offshore operations. She assisted in growing the company from the Gulf of Mexico Region to the Rockies when she moved to their technical sales team, and the company went on to become one of the largest coil companies in the domestic US. She then gained experience on the operator side and began to work for a mid-size independent operator in the Rockies as a production engineer in the DJ Basin.

Villalobos holds a Bachelor of Science of Civil and Environmental Engineering from Ohio State University. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Western Energy Alliance, and COGA.


Shaun Juhl, Vice President of Operations Support

Shaun Juhl joined Craig Energy in 2014, having worked in the oil and gas industry since 2000. Juhl is responsible for providing the operational support required to sustain our current operations. Under his leadership, Juhl also assists Craig Energy in the execution of the overall company strategy by identifying value-added opportunities to expand the company’s geographic coverage and service offering.

Most recently, Juhl served as USA Business Line Manager, Pumping Services, for a pressure pumping service company where he was responsible for all aspects of business and operational functions, including financial forecasting, inventory control and distribution. His responsibilities also included close collaboration with the safety, engineering, legal, human resources, and sales teams.

Juhl has studied Business Management at several universities, including Jamestown College, Jamestown, ND; Rocky Mountain College, Billings MT; Montana State University, Billings, MT; and Denver University, Denver, CO. In addition, he has completed various safety and operational training courses, as well as a program in High Performance Leadership.


Joe Maguire, General Manager, Bakken Region

Joe Maguire

Joe Maguire joined Craig Energy in 1991. He is a 30-year veteran of both the mining industry and the oil and gas business and brings a wealth of knowledge regarding all aspects of drilling operations. As a General Manger for the Bakken Region, Maguire is accountable for the overall operational and financial performance of the organization overseeing day-to-day drilling operations and as well as the daily interaction with local customers.

Maguire most recently served as General Manager of Craig’s Roustabout Service in Vernal, Utah, where his responsibilities included the management of drilling operations, construction, maintenance, engineering, transportation, cost control, and safety.

Maguire is thoroughly versed in the development of operational efficiencies, quality assurance, and procedures to meet high customer service targets. The management of government agency compliance has also been an essential component of his responsibilities. Maguire’s experience in the mining industry has provided him with an in-depth understanding of the extraction business and the importance of a team approach when it comes to implementation of company objectives.
